General Student Questions

  • It is an AHA requirement that you must have access to the latest edition of the course book. You have the option of bringing your own, purchasing the book when you register and have the book shipped to you, pick up the book at any time with arrangements, or pick up the day of the class.

  • Yes, Continuing Education is offered for many of our courses. Please inquire with your instructor if CEUs are needed.

  • You will be demonstrating your skills on a padded mat with a mannequin on the floor so wear comfortable clothing.

  • The course information is listed in detail on each course page, please take the time to read all course information before signing up for a class.

  • Yes, you may reschedule classes by emailing services@properhealth.solutions or filling out the contact form. We ask for at least a 24-hour notice beforehand if possible. You can reschedule up to 3 times. After 3 times you would have to pay for a new course. No Refunds will be given once a class has been rescheduled. Please refer to our Refund Policies for more detailed information about refunds.

  • Refunds are given with greater than 48hr notice.

  • It is your responsibility to come to the course you registered for on time, but we also understand there could be reasons beyond your control that can cause tardiness. If you are more then 15-20 minutes late you may be asked to reschedule your class as all our classes start on time. If you are running late for a class, please call asap to let the instructor know. It is up to the discretion of the instructor if you can still attend the course.

  • People who register online for any course will automatically have their seat reserved for the course. Walk-ins are welcomed but does not guarantee you a seat in our classes. We follow AHA guidelines and if the course is full by the time you walk in, you will not be allowed into the class as we are only allowed a certain number of students per instructor.

    You can, however, try to come to any of our locations and pay and register in person before the class at any time to ensure you reserve a seat in the class you are interested in.

    It is recommended if you are planning to pay for the course the day of to show up 20 minutes early to class.

  • No, you must have a nonexpired certification of the course you are attending to attend any Updated / Renewal Course.

  • Details on how to complete the online portion of your Heart Code course will be provided in your registration email. You will be required to create a eLearning.Heart.org account in order to access.

  • P.R.O.P.E.R Health Solutions offers healthcare courses in Riverview, FL. Our primary location is located in the Summerfield Community of Riverview, FL. However, we are mobile and host classes all over Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. Classes are also offered in Las Vegas, NV and Long Beach, CA upon request. Please note that some classes may be held in a residence of the Summerfield community for small classes less than 5 as we transition into our permanent location. Please contact us if you have any questions.

  • Yes, we are an authorized AHA Training Site and teach AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS and AHA Heartsaver Courses, CPR/AED, CPR/AED & First Aid, and First Aid only.

  • Our American Heart Association-approved 2-year Certification that’s fast, convenient, and contactless. Currently available in Riverview, FL

  • If you are in Healthcare, you need BLS, if you are not in healthcare you need the AHA Heartsaver CPR Course. Contact us today!

  • Yes, the course focuses on one rescuer and two rescuer CPR techniques for healthcare providers. Which includes AED training.

  • Yes, BLS is the foundation for ACLS and PALS, you must have a non-expired BLS Certification before attending the course.

  • No, the BLS add on can only be added to the course if your BLS Certification is not expired. If your BLS Certification is expired, you are not eligible for the BLS Add-On.

  • No, however, there is the online/in-person AHA Hybrid Course that covers CPR/AED with First Aid. Find your location today.

  • You can register for an Online/In-Person Hybrid First Aid only course.
